Make a difference in a school- Partner with the Bridge!
As a business, you can spark real change, helping students grow in wellbeing and spirituality while opening doors to brighter futures.
We’re so glad you’re here. This is your opportunity to come alongside a local school by supporting the work of a dedicated Bridge Chaplain—bringing hope, wellbeing, and spiritual care to children and young people.
We’re inviting individuals or families to form an exclusive partnership with one of our schools. Each school will be paired with just two supporters, and your regular monthly gift of £25 or more will help ensure that chaplaincy remains a trusted and lasting presence in that community.
Your chaplain will keep in touch with stories and updates so you can see the impact of your support—and you’ll also be warmly invited to special events throughout the year.

Please note that this partnership is subject to our terms and conditions, which are primarily focused on the safeguarding of all children and young people and our staff team.

Terms and Conditions for our "Partner with a School" Programme
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between the individual (the "Partner") and The Bridge (the "Charity") in relation to their participation in the "Partner with a School" programme. By becoming a partner, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Partnership Overview
The "Partner with a School" programme allows individuals to contribute a minimum of £25 per month, enabling the delivery of Chaplaincy services across all schools partnered with The Bridge. While your regular donation supports the broader Chaplaincy programme, it also facilitates a more formal, exclusive connection with a specific school of your choosing. This programme helps fund the Chaplains’ work and the central operational costs associated with delivering Chaplaincy across schools.
3. Role of The Bridge and Bridge Chaplains
All partnerships are brokered and managed entirely by The Bridge, with support from our team of Bridge Chaplains. The Bridge Chaplain assigned to the school will be your primary point of contact for any updates or inquiries related to the partnership. Moreover, partners are encouraged to contact the Bridge central team for any additional support or queries.
4. Communication with Schools
To ensure that schools are not burdened by external communications, all contact related to the partnership will be managed through The Bridge and the assigned Bridge Chaplain. Partners should not contact the school directly regarding their partnership, as this could place an extra burden on the busy day-to-day workings of the school.
5. Safeguarding
The safety of children and young people is a core priority of The Bridge. Any activities involving regular, unaccompanied visits to schools (such as mentoring or reading sessions) will first be subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance and completion of Safeguarding in Schools training. This ensures that all partners are fully compliant with safeguarding policies in place within the schools. It is expected that each partner conduct themselves in a good and positive manner, so not to bring the charity or wider community into disrepute.
6. Partnership Structure and Updates
Your £25 monthly donation contributes to our overall Chaplaincy programme, supporting Chaplains' work across all schools. However, each partner will have a formal connection with a specific school. You will receive updates throughout the year on the impact of your support, including how your donation is benefitting the students, staff, and wider community in the chosen school.
Partners will also be invited to occasional events such as Carol Concerts, special assemblies, or collective worship services, where you can see firsthand the difference your support is making. These communications and event invitations will occur periodically, and you can choose to opt in or out of them as you prefer.
7. Initial Introduction
At the start of your partnership, an initial welcome meeting will be arranged, facilitated by the Bridge Chaplain, where possible. This meeting will typically include an introduction to the Headteacher. However, due to the busy nature of school life, this meeting may not always be possible to schedule immediately.
8. Exclusive School Partnership
While the donation supports the overall Chaplaincy programme across all schools, it also ensures an exclusive connection with the specific school you choose to partner with, along with just one other individual. In addition to this, the Bridge is running a business partnership scheme, where a local business will support the work taking place in a specific school, in a similar vein. All in all, no more than 3 partners (x2 individuals and x1 business) will have an exclusive partnership with an individual school, all brokered through a relationship with the Bridge Chaplain and central Bridge team.
9. Cancellation of Partnership
The Bridge reserves the right to cancel any individual partnership at its discretion, should there be any breaches of these Terms and Conditions.
10. Termination of Agreement
You may cancel your participation in the programme at any time by notifying The Bridge in writing.
11. Use of Personal Data
The Bridge will collect and use personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. Information will be used to communicate updates about the partnership and related activities. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
12. Liability
The Bridge will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the "Partner with a School" programme, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
