Looking for an exciting new opportunity?
Thanks for stopping by. It’s an exciting time to join the Bridge team. Continuing in season of growth, we are now strengthening and extending our Chaplaincy team in schools in the north and south of the county of Wiltshire. We are seeking candidates for multiple Chaplaincy roles:
All Chaplaincy roles are term time only (40 weeks a year). School Chaplaincy days are the same day every week, but are initially negotiable. All Chaplains have a 6 hour non-contact Monday for training and resourcing, once a month we meet together as team in Salisbury, other Mondays may be worked remotely. If this role interests you, please read the job packs opposite and follow the application steps outlined. If you would like further information or an informal conversation about the role, we would love to hear from you at [email protected]. This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful appointments are subject to robust vetting procedures, including an enhanced DBS check.
Step 1: Take a read through the job pack above and come back to us if you have any additional questions or wish to have a chat through the role.
Step 2: Read and sign our Statement of Faith. The Bridge is a Christian charity with a clear vision rooted in the Christian faith. We are a team of practising Christians, and our work is shaped by regular prayer, shared worship, and a commitment to living out our faith together. Due to the specific nature of this role, it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that successful candidates have an active Christian faith and are fully supportive of our Christian ethos, vision, and values. The successful candidate will be asked to read and confirm their support for our Statement of Faith, and will be invited to participate in team prayer and other shared expressions of our faith, as part of our organisational culture. Step 3: When you are ready, please click here to fill out our application form. Step 4: Please send your cover letter to our Operations Lead at [email protected]. Please ensure your cover letter is either a word document, or PDF and no more than 2 pages, telling us (a) your motivation to work for the Bridge and (b) how you might fulfil the person specification and job description. Step 5: Sit back, grab a tea or a coffee, and we'll be in touch! Closing date: Rolling deadline, apply as soon as possible! We reserve the right to close applications at short notice. THANK YOU for your interest in joining the Bridge team and please kindly note that steps 2-4 are mandatory for an application to be considered complete. |
