Thank you so much for your interest for our 2026 skydive event on Saturday 4th July 2026. We are so excited! Please read the key information below (FAQ's) or watch the video above to see one of our previous charity jumps.

Click here to read our information pack for this year's event.

If you are keen to take part (amazing!) then you only need to do two things to get signed up:

1. Fill out this form, via this link: https://forms.gle/9yjtWHLhMgxCSnsF8
2. Launch your fundraising page here:   localgiving.org/signup (step-by-step instructions below)

Click on “Register as a supporter”

Once you have logged into your new account, click on “new fundraiser”.

Then click on “Find your charity” and type in The Bridge Youth Project

Having done this, give your fundraising page a title (e.g. Joe Blogg’s Skydive page!”) Localgiving will then create a unique URL for you to share with friends and family!

Then under 'about your fundraiser’… write anything you like here. It can be short but sweet! (this is mandatory).

Next (crucial bit!)- Toggle the 'Link fundraiser' on and then choose ’The Bridge Skydive 2026!’ That will mean you are then connected to the event as a fundraiser, which will then show all the details etc.

We definitely recommend choosing a target. The minimum required amount is £350 but many previous jumpers have selected £500 or more… the skies the limit!  You might also wish to add a photo of yourself and leave a thank you message for donors, too.

Everyone can then keep tabs on how much you’ve managed to raise, and you can update it with any offline donations raised too!

FAQ's:
1. How old do I have to be to jump?
The minimum age is 16 and parental consent must be obtained if you are under 18. Otherwise, there is no maximum age!
2. What if I can't make the actual date?
Please don't worry. From a Bridge point of view, there will be a group of us on the site, ready to welcome you on and your family and friends on the day. We will provide refreshments, take photos and watch you take the jump. However, if you cannot make the date then you are still welcome to book a date directly with the airfield and we will do our best to come along and cheer you on!
3. What is the jump actually like!?
A good number of the Bridge team have done skydives before and it's just so difficult to put it into words. That feeling of adrenaline, of climbing up to to altitude and then perching on the edge of the plane before free falling (up to 120mph!) and then landing safely by parachute with the Salisbury plain below you....it really is unforgettable.
4. How much does it cost and how much do I need to fundraise?
The skydive centre charges us £245 per jump. Each jumper pays £75 deposit (that's all you pay!) and then we ask each person to raise a minimum of £350. £170 then goes to the skydive centre and £180 comes to the charity, plus any additional extra you manage to raise. People have raised anywhere between £350 and £1,000 in the past, the sky's the limit (literally!)
5. Can people visit on the day?
Absolutely! It's a military airfield and so security is tight and so they just ask that you give them the details of all friends and family members who will be joining you on the day, as entrance is restricted to the public. The Bridge will put on refreshments but there is also a cafe for tasty snacks.
6. What if I have a medical concern?

Everyone is asked to complete a medical form giving consent, but if you have any queries then we advise that you contact the skydive centre in advance. You might be asked to consult with your GP. The basic requirement is that participants are 'in reasonable good health and weigh no more than 16 stone (102kg).
7. Is it safe?

Skydiving is an extremely well regulated sport. All the instructors are very experienced and hold British Skydiving (BS) qualifications. The equipment used is the best available and is maintained to very high standards. The aircraft used operate under Civil Aviation Authority regulations. Skydiving will only take place when the weather conditions are suitable.
8. How do I fundraise?
Once you've signed up, you'll be given simple directions to set up your own LocalGiving fundraising page online, which can then be shared widely with family and friends.

9. What will the money be used to go towards?
We work across 23 primary and secondary schools within Wiltshire and north Dorset, supporting children, as well as staff, through our unique blend of Bridge Chaplaincy. We have also recently launched a new 'third space' youth work stream, a more community-focused initiative for young people in Salisbury. Any monies raised will go towards this much needed work, at a time when school budgets are very much stretched and yet the work is needed more than ever. Thank you for your support!
10. What if I want to find out more or have other questions to ask?
We would love to help! Please email us at hello@the-bridge.org.uk and we will very glad to answer any questions you might have.
11. What if I can'f fundraise the minimum amount or need to cancel?

Please kindly note that the deposit is non-refundable. If the amount raised is under the minimum amount of £350 then, 72 hours before jump day, it will have to be postponed to a later date, unless the participant is happy to fund the shortfall themselves. Fundraised monies cannot be reimbursed to sponsors. If you are poorly or unable to attend for any reason then the jump can be rescheduled.
12. What if the weather is bad? Could we be waiting around for hours?
We are in the hands of the skydive centre with regards to whether they consider it safe to commence the jumps. Their
Chief Instructor and DZ control check the forecast a day in advance of jumping and if the conditions look unsuitable they will aim to contact us and advise us to change the arrival time or reschedule for another day. We will then relay this information immediately, so please check your emails. On the day itself there can sometimes be a lot of waiting but it's all down to the weather and you will be kept updated with any developments.
13. Which skydive centre are you using?
We have put on 3 skydive events at the Netheravon airfield prior to this and it's always been an amazing occasion. The address is:
Airfield Camp, Netheravon, Wiltshire, SP4 9SF; about 20 minutes from Salisbury (close to Amesbury/Durrington). Their website is: https://www.netheravon.com/tandem/faqs/ should you wish to find out more.
