The Third Space: Youth Worship Nights for Salisbury

The Third Space is a new initiative from The Bridge Project, led by Georg Knights in collaboration with local churches.  The Youth Worship Nights (YWN) that have started this year grew out of a Youth Alpha course initiated  by Youth Leads, Sophie from St Francis Church and Hannah from Salisbury Baptist Church, which saw 110 young people come through its doors. Off the back of that, Georg worked closely with Sophie and Hannah to listen to what youth across the city were telling them.. that they wanted a way to keep meeting up.

That feedback shaped one of the many things The Third Space hopes to be for youth. The YWN is a regular space for young people from all denominations to gather, worship, encourage one another, and have fun together. There is no one fixed home or church, we gather at different venues with hope it brings youth from across Salisbury together as one community.

Third Space isn't a church. It's a project that exists to give children a place beyond the school gates where they can be spiritually curious in a safe environment, surrounded by peers going through the same things. Just as importantly, it gives youth leaders and groups across the city a way to collaborate and support each other, rather than working in isolation.
